OurMealPrep is a community for home cooks to share and discover recipes. You must be at least 13 to join.

Recipes here come from real home cooks — people who actually made the dish. No AI-generated recipes, no scraping from other sites. When someone marks “I cooked this,” it's because they really did. That trust is the whole point.

When you post a recipe, it's yours — but by sharing it here, you give OurMealPrep and the community a license to display, share, and adapt it within the platform. Think of it like posting to a public forum: others can see it, save it, and cook from it. That's the whole point.

We don't train AI models on your recipes, photos, comments, or cooking feedback — not by us, not by anyone else. We don't sell or license your content off the platform either. It stays here, with you, and only here.

Please don't scrape the site, spam other cooks, advertise products, or do anything that ruins the experience for everyone. We'll remove content or accounts that cross the line. If you believe something was posted without proper credit, let us know.

Recipes involve food, and food involves risk. We don't verify recipes for allergens, safety, or accuracy — cook with your own judgment. OurMealPrep is provided as-is and we're not liable for what happens in your kitchen.

Nutrition information on OurMealPrep is estimated using USDA data and may not be perfectly accurate. It's a helpful guide, not a medical resource — please consult a professional for specific dietary needs.

We may update these terms occasionally. If something material changes, we'll email you about it. We'll keep cooking either way.

We collect what we need: your email, display name, the recipes and comments you share, your dietary preferences, and your cooking activity (saves, favorites, “I cooked this” marks). We use basic analytics to understand how people use OurMealPrep so we can make it better.

We don't train AI on your content. Your recipes, photos, comments, and feedback aren't used — by us or anyone else — to train AI or machine learning models. Your contributions stay yours, on this platform, and only here.

We don't sell your personal information. Ever. Your email is only used for account stuff, not marketing blasts.

We use trusted third-party services for hosting, error monitoring, and payments. Your data may pass through these providers, and they operate under their own privacy policies. Card details never touch our servers — payments are handled directly by Stripe.

Want out? You can delete your account or export your data anytime from your account settings, or email us and we'll take care of it. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Some anonymized, aggregated data (like overall recipe counts) may remain.

For privacy requests (CCPA, GDPR, or otherwise), email support@ourmealprep.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We'll get back to you within 30 days.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We also use simple analytics to see what's working and what isn't.

No third-party trackers, no ad networks. Just the basics.

We take copyright seriously. If you believe a recipe, photo, or other material on OurMealPrep was posted without permission and infringes your copyright, send us a takedown notice and we'll review it.

Notices should include enough information for us to identify the work and confirm you're the right person to ask: a description of the original, a link to where it appears on OurMealPrep, your contact info, and the statutory statements required under §512(c) of the DMCA. We terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. If a counter-notice applies to you, that process is also detailed on the formal page.
